Christmas - Take 2

We are lucky enough to have both our families within an hour of us. This makes holiday travel very easy. We had a great time hanging out with the Jordan's on Dec. 25th! The past 2 days have been Christmas with the Vitkus family. Santa even came this morning and ate the cookies we put out!

We all spent the night at my parents house and woke up to "Christmas morning" today. Cali had a rough night. We were awake from 3-5am. Finally she fell asleep in my arms on the sofa and slept until 7am. The Nap War is continuing by the way. We left my parents house early today just so she would sleep in the car for a nap at 2:30. She was awake for 7.5 hrs! She went to bed at 6pm tonight exhausted!

Friday we got to my parents at around 4. The kids played until dinner. Cali got her first real "war wound" of a black eye while showing off her standing skills. She was standing up and had one hand of the sofa and the other had a toy plastic block. Gravity showed up and Cali went down, only the block hit her right eye. Lots of crying (Cali and me), a little blood but we made it through. After dinner the kids opened their Christmas PJ's from the grandparents. Then off to bed so Santa could come.

This morning after a yummy breakfast we tore into the HUGE pile of presents! It was great fun to see the 3 kids playing with paper, toys, and boxes! We spent the rest of the morning playing with all of our new toys and cleaning up. Dad fixed a wonderful Christmas lunch!

We enjoyed both Christmas adventures and Cali racked up on the presents!

Here are the photos!
