Why a blog?

Well, we thought it was about time. We have talked about it for a while as a way to stay connected with friends and family. We wanted to be able to post pictures and stories outside of Facebook or Flickr. However the challenges of an infant have made it hard to find the time to do anything, much less start a blog. But we are going to try. So here we go!
